Auburn vs. Xavier Preview

This will not be the game thread.
We had a home and home with them about 5 years ago and lost both 74-81 and 57-80
I think we have a better chance at winning this year than the previous years. I want to see Reed and Bowers rack up the points. Reed struggled to make a few baskets against Winthrop, and Bowers looked weak going to the rim most times. As I've said, if Bowers can just put that point blank layup in, we're golden. I know it's not the easiest of layups, but damn the dudes a monster in size.
There was a streak against Winthrop where we looked our best all season when we began to pull away. It would be incredible to see that the whole game against Xavier.

I've watched Xavier. They have major issues in the post and rebounding. I don't see this happening unless we are throwing bricks all game

I think our team is starting to gel. I predict we go up big, then play sluggish and give up the lead, then win the game by 2.

Thanks. I scrolled on the SECN and it says Clemson/USCE @ 6 CST. I guess it will be on ESPN3. Thanks again for the info.
ETA Just heard a gum bumper on SECN say Xavier is avg. 82 points a game. I hope they are cold tonight.

They only play 3 upperclassman but they are deep, talented and shoot the ball well. It's going to be tough but if we play our best game and they are off a bit we can win.
