VT dropped a TD pass on 4th and goal inside the 3 when it was 9-0 Auburn in the third quarter. That could have drastically altered that game.

USC beat VT by double digits in Maryland.
AU beat VT by 3 in NOLA.
They don't like facts though.

With 4 first round NFL draft picks, 3 in the Top 10. Auburn 2004 was friggin stacked. Bammer 2011 lost a home game, so I don't know why a gump would start such a stupid thread.

why is everyone acting LSU offense was so terrible because Jefferson was terrible? They ran the ball at will, scored 35+ points in all games except two(19@MSU on Thursday night, BCSNG), 40+ in 10 games.
Defense gave up 11.3 points, 261 y/g
Offense 35.7 points, 355 y/g
Ran through the toughest regular season in CFB history with relative ease.

Lsu 2011 had by far the worst qb play of any team mentioned here, that's not disputable. That lsu team isn't beating any of the usc, Texas, miami's etc. auburn 04 would have beat lsu as well.

11 LSU could beat 01 Miami. 01 Miami was far from unbeatable. Doesn't take an all-time great team to beat them.

Who cares if its below average? If they're scoring points like that they don't need an ultra high ypg average
That LSU defense would overwhelm Leinhart, and their D line alone had the speed to run down RBs, so Reggie Bush is not going to look like an all American against that defense. I watched their DE Mingo run down Lamichael James from behind. They would expose Matt Leinhart and pick him off 3 times. That 2011 LSU defense is far and away better than any defense Leinhart faced at USC
Also, that LSU defense had the speed to contain QBs like VY. VY would have to win the game with his arm and I just don't see it. VY isn't going to run wild on LSUs defense like he did against USC. With that, LSU would probably force quite a few turnovers. So, LSU could beat a team like 05 Texas.

No. Their OFFENSE averaged 31 ppg. Just because you wanna throw in punt returns and the like doesn't mean the offense put those points on the board.
