Total defense is a garbage stat. The game is decided on who has the most points...not the most yards.

For some reason....you slack jaws cant figure that out

So then.. 10-7 is relevant. Your defense only held our offense to 10, but LSU's defense held to 7. Ole Miss has a better offense. So in theory LSU has a better defense. And realistically they do.

Gonna be a sweet ride going from 3rd in your division to best in the nation.

Not sure where you get this evaluation... Ole Miss was #1 in Points Allowed but LSU beat them in almost every other defensive category. I did not bother to look at other SEC schools in the stats. FWIW

We gave up 10 points to LSU. I'll need to see improvement before I jump on board with this.

I do hope you're right, though.

How can you have the nations best defense when you didn't even have the highest ranked defense in the conference?

That would be LSU.

And LSU will have the best defense in the conference in 2015. However, Alabama, LSU, and Ole Miss will all have nasty defenses.

You know how some defenses suffer because their offense can't stay on the field?

I look at LSU's quarterback situation and think that will be the case. Matt Flynn was the last competent quarterback to take snaps on the Bayou.

I mean, LSU had an awful offense this year, and the defense was still perfectly fine.

That LSU defense couldn't even get the Tigers to a NY6 Bowl. LSU had a good defense, but it's nothing to write home about.

Yeah....points win ball games...you can hold onto that bullshite irrelevant stat of yardage just like you can hold onto being 5th in the west.

none of your other bullshite defensive categories mattered enough to get you sorry coonnasses to a ny6 bowl.

Les miles.......lol....should worry about giving up Les points
