Where are you staying OP?

Some of my favorites:

Crystal Beer Parlor- great burgers, homemade chips, beer, etc.

Wiley's BBQ- my personal favorite BBQ joint in the state of GA

Vinny Van Goh Goh's- best pizza in town, city market area so good atmosphere

Vic's on The River - if you're looking for an upper scale restaurant

Hope this helps

No there's another social club downtown right by city market on Congress..good bar that has a grill crew every night whipping up good eats.

Good.

I was very disappointed in the Tybee Social Club over the summer.

I may give the city market one a try.

Social downtown is great but it's gonna be super crowded all through Christmas. So if you don't like crowded places you should try Cotton Sail, which is also great but a bit more out if the way. Moonriver on bay is also awesome if you like craft brews.

Stay away from the chicken salad at the Pirate House. I ate it once and had the shits all the way to Charleston.

(On second thought...stay away from the Pirate House)

Both of those are very good.

Also

Spankys: get chicken fingers and spuds.

Clarys: for breakfast

Distillery: if you like craft brews

But if you eat at one place in savannah, go to Mrs Wilkes. I lived in Sav for 20 years and that is, in my opinion, the best restaurant there. Be prepared for a 30 min wait but it's more than worth it.

Wiley's BBQ sucks arse and so do their shitty owners. Sandfly BBQ is much better and the owners/staff don't act like little bitches if something is wrong.
Elizabeth on 37th is pretty good.
Second the Pink House. One of my friends works there...great place.
The Original Pancake House for breakfast. Something about their baked omelettes that is just amazing.
Don't knock the Pirates House...their pecan drizzled fried chicken is the best you will eat. Period.
I second Swin's Mrs. Wilkes recommendation...good stuff.
Spanky's... The River Street one only, though. Their Fingers, spuds, and a cold beer can't be beat.
