Is this the most the Rant has ever pulled for Bama?

I understand that no matter what there will be responses in this thread that are along the lines of "frick Bama", "Never pull for the Alabama", etc., however I'm seeing a lot of responses pulling for Alabama. I know UF fans probably want Alabama to skullfrick OSU, most everyone here hates Jameis and Jimbo more than they hate Bama, and I'm pretty sure no one wants to read about how Oregon is the next dynasty in college football and how the PAC has always been better than the SEC.
So what say you? Are you secretly hoping Alabama pulls this off, ambivalent, or absolutely against it?

I was secretly pulling for Bama until I read this thread

I am pulling for Bama but each time I see a thread that basically reads "Bama fan here - line up to the left and tell me why you love us!"... I find myself rooting for you less and less.

I think what the rant wants is for the SEC to win the NC, and for bama fans to melt and weep sweet tears.
Most of us are still trying to figure out how both can be accomplished.

So what you're saying is you're confused about your feelings.

It all comes down to LSU. Bama was able to beat LSU so Bama is capable of winning the national championship.
2013 Auburn wasn't able to beat LSU so 2013 Auburn was not capable of winning the national championship.
2006 & 2008 florida,2010 Auburn, 2009,2011,2012 Bama were able to beat LSU so they were capable of winning the national championship.

I'm actually not pulling for either OSU or Bama… I got the stray cruise missile all the way

Florida State is the only team on the planet that could make me openly pull for Alabama. If they beat Oregon, I will unashamedly hope Jameis gets his dick slapped into the dirt multiple times.

I'm trying to imagine what long term benefit would accrue to my team if Bama won the natty. I'm having a hard time with that.
Does that make me ambivalent?

Well technically if Alabama reaches the national championship game the SEC gets more money. All of the SEC.

I think the BCS title game against ND was the most united I've seen SEC fans in general pull for the 'Tide in a big game. This one's probably close. No love lost for the Luckeyes.

I hope Ohio State and Urban embarrass Bama

The case can be made we all get about a million more or so for the natty, but when you have a budget of 80m+, that doesn't offset that it's bama.
Like I said, if there was some way Bama fans would all be heartbroken, but the SEC still takes the natty, that would be the optimal outcome. Really its just that OSU, Oregon, and FSU are all hated as well.
Its like Syria. Do you want Assad to win, or ISIS? Hard to say.
