We host Clemson Friday.

We'll try to right the ship and be the first SEC team to beat them this season.

After losing to Winthrop at home and Gardner-Webb, they're 3-0 against the SEC

We've got NC State in about 45 minutes.

I've got class for about another 4 hours but getting ready to cut out of here in time for tip off. Priority for tonight is the round ball

@ home against Appalachian State on Sun, even though technically that's next week.

Should be a relatively easy W, but you never know when Bama steps on the court.

Just beat Winthrop 80-72 and get Xavier at home Saturday. We had our starting 5 for the 2nd time this year and looked decent.

We actually beat Winthrop 80-62.
They didn't look good at all so its weird they beat Clemson when we lost to Clemson by 11 just 3 days ago

Bama - I know I should be happy with playing well on the road at a place like Wichita even with the awful ending, but this is bigger than that. This is just another example of us losing a game on the road that we had in control because our guys lost their minds down the stretch. We have done this 15-20 times the last 4 years with different sets of players. There is only one constant..........

And no, we won't make the NCAA's. You don't make the NCAA's with 3 losses to tournament teams and 0 wins. If we beat UCLA at home we MIGHT have a chance, but otherwise we will be doing the usual Grant 20+ win season that results in a #1 seed in the NIT.

We just added 2 badly needed post players, including a 7'2" athletic but raw freshman, and got our second best scorer back who was injured in game 1. We have several home games in a row leading up to conference play, so hopefully we can get these guys integrated and up to speed in time to make some waves during conference play.

If we can somehow pull the upset over Xavier on Saturday, that would be a huge boost to this team's confidence.
