The FWAA picked Landon Collins & Amari Cooper 1st team All-Americans. They were also picked 1st team All-Americans by AFCA, Associated Press (AP), The Sporting News, & Walter Camp.

Being picked by these 5 gives you Unanimous AA. Being picked by 3 of these 5 gives you Consensus AA.

Besides the main 5 selectors, Amari was also picked 1st team AA by CBS, USA Today, SB Nation; ESPN; Sports Illustrated

Landon was also picked 1st team AA by CBS; SB Nation; ESPN; Sports Illustrated & picked 2nd team by USA Today.

The other Bama players picked All-Americans are:

Arie Kouandjio - AFCA (1st team); USA Today (1st team); SB Nation (1st team); Sports Illustrated (1st team); The Sporting News (2nd team); CBS (2nd team); Walter Camp (2nd team); & AP (2nd team)

JK Scott - ESPN (1st team); USA Today (1st team); Sports Illustrated (1st team); The Sporting News (1st team); AP (2nd team)

Trey DePriest - AFCA (1st team); CBS (2nd team)

The LSU fans are going to be pissed. One is already on twitter saying Landon is overrated.

Coop has got it for sure.

Arie probably gonna get consensus? Who would have thought it?

I think people wanna believe LC is overrated because they see him give up a few plays in some games. I see an elite athlete, but he doesn't have the instincts in deep coverage that HaHa had. They're comparing him to HaHa, just like how HaHa was compared to Barron/Lester, and the next top Safety we have will be compared to LC.

I understand some of the questioning of DePriest's selection, but our defense is night and day when he is out there. Sure, he had a few head-scratching moments in the MSU game, but he has also made a lot of great plays this year. He is the glue that keeps it together on d, and he has been a solid contributor since he was a true freshman.
