Florida will be breaking in a new coach with high expectations to win in year one. Floridas schedule next year is:

NEW MEXICO STATE
EAST CAROLINA
at Kentucky
TENNESSEE
OLE MISS
at Missouri
at LSU
Georgia (Jacksonville)
VANDERBILT
at South Carolina
FLORIDA ATLANTIC
FLORIDA STATE

I can see Florida going anywhere from 7-5 to 9-3, I think they could possibly contend for the East next year considering how down it has been.

Tennessee's schedule:

Cupcake to replace UAB (at Nashville, TN)
09/12 - Oklahoma
9/19 - Western Carolina
9/26 - at Florida
10/03 - Arkansas
10/10 - Georgia
10/24 - at Alabama
10/31- at Kentucky
11/07 - South Carolina
11/14 - North Texas
11/21 - at Missouri
11/28 - Vanderbilt

I can see Tennessee going from 5-7 to 8-4. Tennessee will be happily stuck with their 3rd year of mediocrity under Butch They'll probably finish somewhere around 4th or 5th in the East.

Mac will have a better record in Year 1 than Butch will have in Year 3. Oh, and 11 in a row. Brick by brick, bitches.

Honestly, I think Tennessee will be better because I think Florida is going to be HOT GARBAGE in year 1.

Although, I think Butch will frick up some how and UF will beat Tennessee in the swamp.

Both finish with 2 SEC wins
(Vandy and SC)

Damn, UF really sucks at scheduling.

Florida, and they'll go 8-4 and keep the streak alive against the Vols.

How does 10 in a row and counting feel?

McElwain is a much better hire than Butch Jones. Hell, the biggest program Jones was a part of before UT was Cincinnati and West Virginia. McElwain put up 21 points against one of the greatest modern defenses CFB has seen in the National Championship while at Bama and then turned CSU into a respectable program.

It's like when we had that streak against Kentucky and it was the only thing we could hold onto as a suggestion that we used to be somebody. It's kind of sad to watch.

Not sure why this is written in past tense. You still aren't anybody.

Kinda similar to the stat about Tennessee's streak against the Big 6 in the SEC:

0-10 against Florida
0-8 against Bama
0-6 against Auburn
0-5 against Georgia
0-4 against LSU
0-33 overall
But DAMNIT! TENNESSEE IS BACK BABY!!

It's written in the past tense because we don't have that streak against Kentucky any longer. I am implying that we now have nothing to hold onto.

I haven't claimed that we're back. It's just that those stats you listed show how abysmal we are and yet you beat your chests about having 10 in a row against a team that has been only marginally better than Kentucky over the last several years.

It's just sad watching Florida resort to winning streaks over scrubs to remind themselves of their past glory while their program slips into irrelevance. That's all.
