Wonder how many of them will get some shopping done when the "protest" has dispersed?

I always wondered how one of these "die-ins" ends. Is there a specified period of time one is obligated to lie crumpled on the ground? Or do folks just randomly kinda get up, stretch, and start looking around? Also are you allowed to breathe/blink normally, or does that ruin the effect?

The last photo I saw of a die-in had some chick taking a selfie during it.

Maybe they should change it to "zombie-in"?

You are so right. This protest that hasn't happened yet has my white privilege making me want to give away all my possessions to the cause.

You big dummy.

I bet you made fun of the Million Man March, which addressed the very thing you claim black people don't care about. Get out if here with your ignorance.

Yeah, it's supposed to be in the 40s with rain on Friday afternoon. Good luck with that.

I'm sure the owners of the two malls will just let them do whatever during the busiest shopping time of the year.

And it's done so much good right?

I'm talking about real concern for what's going on in black communities that is fostering criminal behavior among young black men and the trickle down to relationships with authoritative figures as a result.

Anybody can march in protest, but call me when people give enough of a shite to actually do something about it within the community instead of just pointing fingers at outside influences.

Belle,

I get on my wife about this all the time. Honestly, I think its a product of our microwave society. It is SO MUCH EASIER to take the easy route. It's easy for the black community to blame the cops or white people for their problems. Introspection would require some hard questions with answers that aren't easy.

No more calls please, we have a winner. Roughly half of all teenaged black males who die each year are murdered by other young black males and practically nobody cares. A thug (and Brown was a thug) gets in a fight with a cop, winds up dead, and now black lives matter? Really?

If those lives really mattered, the people protesting would have been in the streets years ago trying to do something to stop the genocide that happens in their community every single day.

You guys should tell them to move the phuq out the way. I'm sure that would take care of the situation.
