Denver Post: Colorado State’s interviewing process is in screening stages, including with Georgia’s Mike Bobo

They're looking at a lot of candidates:

quote:

Other possibilities include, but are not limited to:

— Former CSU players Tony Alford, the running backs coach at Notre Dame; Billy Gonzales, co-offensive coordinator at Mississippi State; and Rick Dennison, quarterbacks coach of the Baltimore Ravens.

— Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost and/or wide receivers coach Matt Lubick.

— Plus Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi; Auburn offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee; and Texas defensive coordinator Vance Bedford.

I assume there are wild-card candidates out there, too.

If Bobo Goes, If Bob Stays, it makes no difference....our schedule makes it a very bad season indeed to lose 4 times and a pretty bad one when we lose 3 times. Bobo has done a great job but we ain't won a game of significance in a very, very, very long time. We arent going to lose even more significant games with another OC....we will still be a annual 8-9 regular season winning team and we will continue to play mid level teams (and lose more often than not) in bowl games that arent sold out and where there is almost no interest outside of the immediate fan base. We are UGA....and until August we are mediocre at best.

Then like Caesar, Bobo rides back into Rome....uh I mean Athens, triumphant. He overthrows everyone in the ButtSmear Senate in what is known as "Nox cruentam canes" and UGA's Legion of Red and Black marches to glory crushing everyone in their wake.

Uh, then after he refuses the Head Coach position three times, he gets stabbed to death at the Student Center?

I would respectfully refer you to game footage of this year's Clemson and Auburn games. Hell, throw in Mizzou and make it a Tiger trifecta.

I agree that it was great to get wins against the tigers but with the exception of Auburn none of those were anything other than wins against teams we should beat 80% of the time. As far as significance after the debacle in Jacksonville we didn't have a significant game left on the schedule. The Auburn win had a chance to be significant but we had to rely on outside forces to make it so. In my opinion a significant win is one that makes your season different than the average. We ain't had one of those in a while....

The only two defenses that Bobo curb stomped this year have fired their defensive coordinators, no?

Probably says something about the head coaches in question being so shocked that we lit em up that they fired me out of shock!
