I think this would be a good move for him. If he really wants the uga job one day let him prove that he has what it takes to be a head coach.

If he really wants the UGA job one day, he'll stay right where he's at. He'll get it without taking the risk at CSU.

As long as Don Leebern is running things at uga I fully expect that Bobo will be next in line. Fits his and the school's MO. Whether Bobo will be the most deserving candidate or not is another matter.

Whether he deserves it or not is a matter of opinion I guess, but he's basically been groomed for the job since he was a kid. No one knows Georgia football better than him.

I agree that he is all dawg and a damn good one. Doesn't mean I want to see him as the next head coach. I especially don't like the idea that bc he's been there forever that he "should" be the next guy in line. If there's someone better out there when the time comes I would hope that the ad would make the right call, but like you said he basically been and being groomed for the job.

Bobo has a sister? I wonder if she's as slack jawed as he is.

Unless an Urban Meyer-type makes himself obvious, I honestly think Georgia will have trouble making a for sure better hire. Texas, USC, Michigan, Florida, etc. haven't been able to make hires that blow anyone away.

1) Based on numbers, he deserves a raise.

2) CO is a different world for a guy that hasn't left the south. Not to mention the 12 kids and stability he has here.

Never going to happen. He will never have a job north of the Mason Dixon or West of the Mississippi.

He talks too much like a slack jawed country hick moron, and if your players and co-workers cant understand you, you can't do your job.

I wasn't inferring that he would get the job bc of nepotism or familial love or connections, but bc to me Bobo comes off as a do boy that won't fight the powers that be. Those seem to be the kind of guys that uga likes to employ.

I guess we'll just have to wait until that day arrives to see. God save CMR. Long may he reign.

Nope. He and Matt both conceded it was coach speak at the end of their HSO.

In that interview Chuck and Matt were talking about, the only thing I had an issue with was that Grantham said his defense had made Georgia 'relevant' again. That isn't coach speak. It's Grantham "self marketing" and it's bullshite. Chuck and Chernoff even questioned whether Grantham himself actually believed some of the stuff that he was saying.

Is a dick (and not for anything having to do with Grantham). After 2012 I pretty much realized he's a POS and it'll be better for sports radio when he is unemployed someday.
