Long time listener, first time caller.
I know newbie's aren't allowed to have opinions until I reach a specific post count, but Mullen's recent comments along with the McElwain hire and Michigan coaching search....what are the top jobs in college football?
If you had to start with a blank roster and current sanctions, what school would be the best job factoring in things like facilities, recruiting base, fan commitment, prestige, etc.
Here is how I would rank them:
1. Texas
2. USC
3. Alabama
4. Ohio St.
5. UGA
6. UF
7. Michigan
8. LSU
9. Auburn
10. Oregon
11. Notre Dame
12. Oklahoma
13. Miami
14. Florida St.
15. A&M

Texas is no longer the top job, the last coaching search proved that.

You and your list sucks..........hahaha welcome to the rant. But seriously your list isn't very good nor accurate.
UGA
UF
Michigan are not ahead of LSU. And Michigan doesn't belong in the top ten. After Ohio St get embrassed in the first round you'll see why. The big whatever is dead period.

In your opinion, what do you think the top job is right now? Florida got McElwain, UT got Strong, USC got Sark. I guess there just isn't a lot of big names out there right now.

Texas is no higher than 5. Bama would be number 1.

I think UGA and UF are above LSU for the simple fact that they play in the East and have a better recruiting base.

im curious what makes uga better? is it the ga tech vs fsu and miami thing? because its hard to argue against the fact that uga never loses recruits to ga tech

Think he was going for easier wins being in the east while still in the premier conference in the nation.

Correct. IMO it's a lot easier to build a program in the SEC when your easiest game are Kentucky, Vandy, and UT, rather than having to face Arkansas, A&M, and LSU as the "bottom" schools of the West.
