Decommits from Texas today and he was their highest ranked recruit, and Perroni just flipped his pick to Ark.
Texas board saying he is Hog bound.
Any Ags hearing the same I know he visited you guys as well?

Not for the fact about Texas being eliminated, but because it's still Texas and it's in his city of Houston so there's going to be plenty of Hog fans and a chance to impress him as he'll watch the game if not attend.
It's a nice advantage to be playing in his city for our bowl game in general. Against Texas whom he had been committed to all year can't hurt either.

I'm not sure A&M is still recruiting him. I know they were a few months back. Pretty sure he visited and pissed the tsips off.

I didn't hear anything about it going poorly. I do know we don't have room at tackle at this point.

He reached out to our coaches back around Nov 20th. Would be outstanding if Pittman could get both Merrick and Weathersby to finish out our OL class.

He'll be at Under Armour AA game (Jan 1st) practices during the same time of our Houston bowl practices 26-28 and the game on the 29th.

Yeah I had read somewhere that the A&M visit didn't go well. Yeah, you do have 3 OT's (all lower rated than Toby in the composite). We only have 1 in this class but took 3 last year.
We've apparently been in on him very very hard the last few weeks, I'd guess ever since we knew we were moving on from Barnett.

A&M wasn't interested in him anymore when he visited. Didn't give him much attention. There was only one spot left and it was for a center. After that spot filled up(McCoy from Lukfkin), A&M would've only taken Tillery.
