SCAR got blown out by Florida in 2012. Ole Miss gave up 24plus this year.

Rhodes defenses weren't "great"

Call me a homer, but I maintain that the 2011 LSU defense was better. Statistically their numbers were not significantly different with Bama having a slight edge in a few categories. The eyeball test for these numbers is very misleading based on the offenses that LSU played as opposed to those that Bama faced. The non common opponents that LSU faced had much higher ranked offenses, and therefore confounded the numbers. Also LSU had a more accurate sample size.

Just my 2 cents.

We did, but it wasn't the D's fault. That was all on the special teams giving UF the ball inside our 25 a couple of times, and turnovers were a big problem for us as well. IIRC we allowed one of the lowest yard totals of the season that game.

You're a homer.

6 first rounders and a second rounder on that bama defense.

Mosley
Hightower
Barron
Kirkpatrick
Milliner
HCD

Upshaw

Lsu rape trained everyone they played in 2011 and scored 9 points in 8+ quarters on that defense.

South Carolina was a pretty dang good team last year. They had one horrendous loss in Knoxville and a close loss in Athens to fully healthy UGA.

Way to dispute the actual numbers.

At least Bama was really good at getting into "field goal range" versus the LSU D.

They defeated five teams with at least 10 wins.
8 teams ranks in the top 25
beat three teams that went on to play in BCS bowl
games.

Not sure if you know how stats work. Ever heard of confounding numbers? Statistical difference?

Also beat the BCS National Champions.

Like I said earlier, they are the GOAT.

Some of these just don't add up in my mind. No LSU 2010 or 2014?

Florida only had 183 total yards of offense in that blowout win in 2012.

Florida blew us out because of 4 South Carolina turnovers.
