Hostages taken in Sydney ...

Doesn't look good.
Anyone predicting an outcome for this one?

Of course, Australia disarmed its citizens some years ago ... where one simple CCW permit holder may have been able to prevent this, Australia's citizens are now at the mercy of the bad guys.
This will happen here sooner rather than later ... in one of our disarmed cities like NYC, Chicago, California somewhere, etc.

I don't think they would hit the south. They seem to like attacking the north. IMO its a softer target and hitting something like NYC or boston is a higher emotional impact.

The FBI will have no clue about these people that have come across our border. They are out there and they are not going to give themselves away until it's too late, when it happens.
When they hit us it will be a school ... like the one they took Beslan.

Apparently, some of the hostages made a break for it & escaped which pissed off the terrorist, so he began firing. The police then went in because they had to. Reports are 7 hostages injured; don't know if the pos is dead or not.

I think they were flash grenades set off by the police to confuse the pos. ... 2 are dead; 3 in serious condition. Don't know if one of the dead is the perp - hope so. Looking at his past criminal record is sickening. He needs to die.
