Dammit. How heartbreaking. My grandmother passed away last night while I was sleeping (102-years-old). I'm actually feeling more upset by this shooting because of Jakell's age and how likely this is just an utterly senseless shooting. So sick of this kind of stuff.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother AtlantaAU. What a great life though. 102 years?

I hate saying this and have been holding it in for a while but these players have had to deal with a lot of death going back to the players previously shot at the apartment complex. There was also an equipment manager that died suddenly that year in addition to the recent passing of Lutz. I also feel as if I'm leaving someone out.

This is so sad and I'm praying for his family

Also, Quan Bray's sad parental murder-suicide.

On a positive note, Bray got his degree which I respect. He persevered.

Also, Jay Prosch's mom.

I hope the AD does a good job of making sure counselors are available and maybe it shouldn't be an optional thing? I know therapy isn't for everyone but at having least an initial session might help

Tiger Lodge is the renamed University Heights. We really need to ban players from going there.

It's sad and a bit alarming this has happened multiple times in Auburn recently.

Justice needs to be served, and somehow the types of people who do this need to be monitored.

In the Air Force, when you're stationed, they give out lists of discouraged locations, or something along those lines. I wouldn't disagree if they did the same thing with student athletes. Some apartment complexes simply have bad characters who hang around them.

So was this the same complex where the previous shooting happened?
