Marcus Mariota wins the 2014 Heisman

38 passing touchdowns, 14 rushing touchdowns, and 1 receiving touchdown. Only 5 turnovers the entire season. Cooper and Gordon are outstanding players and two of the best runner ups I can remember, but Mariota definitely deserves the win. I hope Mariota stays humble after this award, and continues his success into a great professional career. Cooper and Gordon are great guys as well and I have a hard time believing that they won't make outstanding pros as well. All 3 are great representatives of the sport and congrats to all of them.

We finally have a well rounded character winner. College football has been missing them for the past few seasons.

He had a great season, hard to argue with him winning it. I think Cooper is better but as a QB who put up crazy numbers on a good team, Mariota is a deserving winner.
