Just saw his highlights. Looks legit. Think we hold on to him or any chance to start?

It would be absolutely terrible for the team and the player to have him start as a freshman.

Kid needs some work on his mechanics (enough repetitions where it all becomes muscle memory) but given a year or 2 under a good coach he could be something special. He has the physique & athleticism that reminds me former Barner QB.

I think Pellerin could be a great talent at QB given time. His mechanics need work, but he throws a very catch-able ball.

He has good touch, and at 6'4" can see the field well. He needs at least 2 years in the system to be ready to play, and a third year would have him starting as a RS-Junior.

This gives him plenty of time to learn the system and humble his ego, a little bit.

Kelly may find that his ego may be his biggest challenge. Learning to concede throws for better decisions was one of the things Bo Wallace had to contend with during his career.

When it comes down to who gets the start next season, it may be the best decision maker and not the best passer, who gets the nod.
