Auburn just refuses to play second fiddle. They take their football program as serious as anyone in the country. The staff at Auburn was already elite and now....damn. Good luck tiger fans, I can't hate on you guys. Good job.

I'm glad too. We're not afraid to open up the checkbook to get what we want. I partly give thanks to Bama for pushing us too. :dickrideover:

Speaking of checkbooks....does AU's athletic dept just not give a frick about being in the red?

So much money being doled out to coaches...

Good hire though.

Thanks. Yep, this was a huge hire for us. Our D needs to go in the opposite direction of where it has been. Muschamp can definitely get things headed in the right direction.

WTF? Your HC alone is making more money than our HC and the highest paid asst. in the nation, combined.

Do you know when the AD expects to inch toward being in the black?

At some point something has to give...paying ex coaches and stuff feels like folks throwing money around during the subprime wave.

Don't get me wrong. I'd love to see AU crumble financial, but what's the plan for balancing the ledger? Diddy buying more State of Alabama swag?

You realize every conference school now has money that they didn't have last year because of the SEC network

Jacobs will probably do what he did last year and move Tigers Unlimited Funds over to cover the difference. It's not like we're hurting for money.
