I see your point, but wouldn't that be kind of boring? ... I mean if people "ignore" everyone's posts they don't like, what's the fun in that??? It would just be one huge circle jerk. Not very interesting.

But it would allow you to clear the board of threads started by obvious trolls that make it hard to actually find a decent thread where discussions take place.

The good discussion would filter through. Opposition to ones opinion is not the problem and is why most like coming here. It is the incessant trolling and flaming which gets old. I know I have done my fair share of it, but I enjoy the actual discussion and good hearted trolling that goes with it more.
