The SEC is looking more and more like the last few years after a fast start... Only a few big OOC games left. If some of those don't go to the SEC it's looking like 3 teams.. 4 at best.

SEC BBALL Power Rankings Team (REC)- Summary (LW Rank)

1. UK (10-0) - Has been struggling to score, D is a beast tho.. Poythress loss big or nah? (1)

2. LSU (6-2) Getting it turned around... big road win + 3 wins in a row (same as LW) may not lose another pre season game.(3)

_____________ Tourney Break Line ___________________

3. Ole Miss (6-2) Beat Oregon on the road.. solid win, one more tough game left (6)

4. BAMA (5-2) Tough road loss need to play well at Witchita with expected home win looming (2)

5. Texas A&M (6-2) Good home win.. and a road loss (5)

6. Arkansas (6-2) Portis and Qualls look dangerous but 2 L's in a row (4)

7. UF (4-4) Not really ready for primetime... still poised to move up... reputation? (7)

8. Vandy (5-2) Beat a struggling LaSalle lost at home (9)

9. MSU (5-2) Now back to back losses... road loss to Tulane (8)

___________________ N.I.T. Line _______________

10. USCe (4-3) Now at 3 in a row and win vs undefeated OK st. trending up (11)

11. Georgia (5-3) Back to back wins may be making a move (10)

12. Mizzou (4-3) need more wins.. tough schedule so far (12)

13. UT (3-3)Got a win (14)

14. Auburn (3-4) Suckage (13)

Biggest Move - Ole Miss 3 spots #3
Biggest Drop - Bama and Arky dropped 2 spots
Best Win of the Week - Ole Miss @ Oregon.
Worst loss - MSU @ Tulane... if in name only, bad loss. Arky @ Clemson was bad also..

No way in hell we are #3.

If out team wasn't so bipolar we would be undefeated. Yeah we beat the hell out of Oregon on the road but we lost at home to Charleston fricking Southern.

I thought, perhaps I was hitting the sauce that day, that Arkansas was poised to make a major step up this season in basketball.

The Iowa State game was just that nothing goes right game you get from time to time. Nothing to be done for it. It happens in basketball.

The Clemson loss, on the other hand, was inexcusable. Tournament teams don't lose those games.

It is Kentucky and the 13 Dwarves this season I fear.

By the time SEC play starts, I think UF will have a pretty solid hold on second best team in the conference. Things are starting to come together as guys get healthy and become available, by the start of the new year UF will start living up to the preseason rankings.

Think you have UF too low when you take into account schedule and injuries/suspensions, but we will see that play out as the year goes on.

We were up the entire game and were up by 20 at one point. I cut it off when we were up by 17.

It is what it is.. but this is very fluid early... the teams with the weaker schedules will take shape when conf play starts.

Know the feeling. Don't know the particulars of y'alls game but LSU essentially just gave away the Clemson game at the Paradise Jam. Went 0/13 from 3, missed about dozen free throws and lost by 3. Of course, since then they've turned things around quite a bit. The Hogs probably will too.

Auburn hasn't had arguably their best scorer, and just got Alex Thompson, and Troyvon Reed was added to the roster. (7-2 240lbs). Hopefully we can improve and get some nice wins ahead.
