With what we lose off this years Oline, is there a chance the 2015 can be better at run blocking? I want to see the O line go back to being bulldozer-like, and to be a protective wall in passing situations

LT- Robinson
LG- Lautua or Casher
C- Kelly
RG- Taylor
RT- Grant Hill

Losing those seniors is gonna sting, but with Kelly and Cam Rob, thats a good foundation to anchor 3 néw starters to for next year.

I want the O line to be able to maul opposition. I want the O line to be Cape buffalo-like. Massive, powerful, quick and fearsome.

When it's all said and done, I think Cam Robinson will be the best tackle and maybe 2nd best O lineman to come through Bama under Saban (only behind Barrett Jones)

Cam will be better.
Bozeman or Casher can be just as good as Arie
Kelly should be better
Shank or Jackson will be much better than Leon
Hill or Jackson can be just as good if not better than Shep.

Next year I hope we mash everybody the frick out and play crazy D.

Return C-Rob at LT and Kelly at Center.

Casher at LG as an athletic pass protector and can pull.

Dom and Grant on the right side. Grant at RT is probably better, but either or.

I think Bozeman and Hill are the most likely to take over starting positions. That leaves over more spot open between Jackson, Casher, Taylor, and anybody else. But all the spots will be wide open going into fall camp.

that's a big strong (except kelly) line. All at least 6'5" 320 (kelly 6'5" like 300)

We definitely have the talent, but will be losing a good bit of leadership and experience. I think the potential is there to be better.
I like the direction our offense is heading, we are seeing things that I thought I would never see by a Bama offense, but it is also nice to know we can line up and run the ball down another teams throat. We haven't seen as much of that this year as we have in the past. I'm not sure it was because we couldn't, or because we never stuck with it long enough. Either way I have really enjoyed watching the offense come together this year. Like him or not, Kiffin has done an amazing job with these guys this year.

a lot of plays they had more men in the box that we could block daring sims to throw. I don't think this will happen next year

Of course they will be better. Should be at least two deep all across as well. Cam will be the best tackle in football even as a shopmore.

Our Oline has been weird this year. We have struggled to be consistent in the run game, but when they need to finish games, they turn it up a notch.

True. They really stepped up when needed and pass blocking was above average all year. I think it helps to practice against badass DLinemen too.

I like this too. I would think Grant Hill would play RG if anything since he's used to playing on the right side of the line but idk if there is any specific difference between playing LG and RG?

I don't know the details of playing on the line either, I just figured since it will be Hills 3rd year in the program it might be easier for him to switch sides. Plus the coaches might trust him more for the same reasons.

im pretty sure it will be
LT Cam
LG Bozeman
C Kelly
RG Jackson
RT Hill

think that gives us the best combo of size and experience. bozeman and hill have played the most of any of the backups, i cant imaging not seeing them both in the starting lineup. jackson is such a mauler in the run game and so raw in pass pro that guard makes way more sense, but hes also probably too nasty to keep off the field.

LG is your more athletic, pull guard traditionally. RG is more a true strength, grater type.

Depends on the system and coach though...
