We still are, but I get the sense we're not giving him the same attention as Mack.

I don't see LSU getting him, unfortunately. Agree that Mack is a legitimate shot but still not sold.

If Malik ends up at A&M, Mack is not going anywhere. Best chance for LSU is that Malik ends up at Texas or UCLA.

Dawgs is correct.

Its pretty crazy that our offensive minded HC can land 5 star LBs without having a DC or defensive gameplan in mind.

If Jefferson goes to A&M, don't be surprised if the LSU OV is cancelled...and tMelt commences.

Nearly every LSU poster in this thread stated that they don't think Jefferson's coming to LSU

The OV I'm talking about is Mack to LSU on January 16th.

While I admit I may have had my hopes up for about a single day, I believe most sane, non flaming LSU posters thought Mack/Jefferson weren't going to end up at LSU. I'll be shocked if Mack makes the OV.

Although, I think defensively LSU has a proven track record of putting guys in the league and it maybe gave them something to think about for a moment

And dogging on Malik being a EE is dumb. If LSU wants to really make an impact with Texas recruits every year it is time to get on the bandwagon with early recruiting. You want a guy like Malik in Texas, that means getting to know his grandmother's favorite color when he is a sophomore in high school.

No offense...but I don't think LSU needs any advice on how to get Texas recruits

Maybe just a little. Mack should be a LSU commit right now.

Maybe the suck is so bad that they think they're better than anyone at A&M now

While the UCLA visit was great, I feel more confident today that he will not be heading to UCLA for school.
I think this is coming down to A&M and Texas. I'm still of the opinion that A&M is the leader.

Things can change as it gets down to decision time and multiple factors are all put on the table.

From what I hear, I just no longer think UCLA is in the game as much as they'd like.

UT fans don't seem confident, and I don't see how he goes to UCLA after one visit the week before his announcement. He's A&M bound IMO.

I agree it would be a nice luxury for him to come to LSU, but he is Aggie bound.

We didn't think Kenny Young was going to UCLA either...

That's not how Battered Aggie Syndrome works
