Kinda surprising. I want to say it was 1980?? Hugh green from Pitt was invited and he was a DE. Don't believe we've seen that since.

Agreed. Balled out against the best conference in CFB.

I still think Palmer was more than a WR. Lines up at QB and in the backfield several times. Had he been strictly a WR he wouldn't have been invited. And that was early 90s Bama where the RB was still the most important piece of the offense.

Coop should win, Oregon plays no one.

Bama board. Only threads that speak negatively about Alabama are allowed to stay on the SEC Rant.

Cooper is a great player, but he isn't going to win. May not be fair, it is what it is.

Amari Cooper is a stud. No doubt he benefited from Kiffin's schemes, but the guy had a great year. Also - I heard him on Sirius radio today -- he did a good job. Best of luck to him

I thought Palmer was a running back with exceptional return abilities. That is to say, a prototypical "Athlete". Did he line up at WR very often?

No Bama fan thinks he'll win. It's basically a QB award, with an occasional token rb winning it.

Cooper is best player in cfb but he will get shafted in the great heisman tradition of overlooking bama players.
