Arkansas and LSU are nominated for the play of the year. You can vote on twitter.

I personally voted for Arkansas.

I was expecting the fake punt for a TD against A&M when you said play of the year and Arkansas.

In his own words
Fournette: “It felt great. It felt normal.”

In his coach's words
Les Miles: “I would get out of the way if Leonard were running at me.”

A&Ms own words
Team: Dammmmmmmn

The two catches were much better than the Arky and LSU entries. LF's a stud, but running over A&M's defensive players is nothing to brag about. The other day my elderly grandmother stiff-armed one in a grocery aisle. Dude just gave up on the play for the last slab of ribs from the butcher.

Arky was fun, but in the end was just a fat dude throwing a touchdown against UAB while already up 21-0.

Then post the other videos of one literally getting run straight over

That's actually a good point that a lot of people were discussing after Beckham's catch getting mentioned for GOAT status. Yes, it was a feat of amazing athletic prowess, but what was the context? Does a play need to have significance to the overall game or season to really be mentioned in GOAT fashion.

Like you said about the Arkansas thing, it's great and all (and I'ma hog fan obviously), but it was largely meaningless. Now, if it would have been to win the game against a #1 ranked Miss. State or something along those lines, then it's elevated to play of the year.

Fournette running over the A&M player isn't that impressive and is no where near the play of the year.

I still feel that Arkansas really screwed up by not moving Tretola to QB full time. How can you argue with his completion percentage and TD ratio?

Play of the year was the ref throwing a flag on the LSU lineman for being a TPOS.

Agreed...just off the top of my head, I'm kinda surprised none of the Hail Mary's are included (Arizona vs. Cal, Arizona State vs. USC, UCF vs. East Carolina)...or the Oklahoma State punt return this past weekend...

That being said, of the four, I think the Nebraska behind the back catch will probably win...with the Kansas tip play comin' in 2nd...the other 2 weren't bad by any stretch, just wouldn't consider either the play of the year...

Ritter not waving off the that ridiculous personal foul flag in LSU-Bama is easily the play of the year. Dude is the 3rd best player on Bamas team behind Scott and Coop

Oh yes, for pushing the alashama TPOS that was pulling on the leg of the LSU player on the ground. Of course no penalty on the alashama TPOS, just the reaction penalty by Alexander when he was just defending his teammate.

Or, for the ref not calling cooper's 'catch' near the end of regulation a trap. I notices saban had the taaaahd rush up to the line to snap the ball before Les could challenge it - illustrating that he will do anything to get away with cheating.

Abdullahs touchdown run with 18 seconds left or whatever was the play of the year.
