It makes me shake my head to think how worthless Barbee was. Pearl earns his money - he recruits, coaches, markets, cheerleads, sells, and entertains.

He does go all out... I wish there were more like him. I met him back when he was the coach at Tennessee and he was awesome to talk to, really nice guy.

Barbee's Auburn squad beat Clemson last year. We'll see soon if Pearl measures up.

Someone's gotta be that guy. Auburn basketball has been a shitstorm for decades now and I miss the yearly banter that comes along with the usual despair and disappointment that radiates from the court. I can't just let that tradition go yet.

Barbee owned the Ohio Valley Conference (3-0). No doubt about it.
But he was only 1-1 against the Southland Conference since he lost to Northwestern St.

Then on game day, we melt like motherfrickers during the game thread and for a minimum of 16 hours after. Then the sun comes back out
