It's an almost Christmas miracle.

ETA: Clemson beat #18 Arkansas at home but also lost to Winthrop at home so who knows what will happen this weekend. Arkansas is like 5-27 on the road under Mike Anderson with 2 of those 5 wins coming at Auburn Arena so...

i don't give if he literally doesn't know 1 play in our offensive playbook.

Pearl can tell him "hey kid, see the paint on both ends of the floor? Stand down there and be 7 feet tall...ready, break!"

I hope he's put on a bit of weight. 7' 220 is pretty thin.

I believe he is up to around 235. Still not heavy enough but he isn't a bean pole like he was last year.

That's a bit better. I just remember seeing the pictures of him and thinking it's probably going to take him 2 years to get up to weight.

Here is a video of him from 2 months ago. 15 lbs doesn't make a huge difference spread out over 7'1 but you can tell he has gotten a little bigger.

Hopefully he can hit a basket because bowers had been dead cold for two weeks.

Welcome to Auburn Trayvon.

Realistically...could we expect him to play sunday?

Pretty sure a 7ft guy who doesn't know our system would be better than Devin Waddell

BigBlueBagel of ITAT says Alex Thompson will also rejoin the team Thursday. He went through summer practices so he is going to be ahead of Reed as far as learning the offense and defense. Unfortunately he has been in Dothan for the entire semester so he is going to be a little out of shape.

Also hearing Mason will likely play vs Clemson this Sunday. Still not 100% but he can probably give us a solid 15 minutes of play.

Honestly, when we have Mason and Reed on the roster and logging solid PT, I think this team will look transformed from what we've seen in the past two games.

Hearing about Reed has got me gidddy.

I don't like Alex Thompson but it will be nice to have at least some size back on the roster. Sick of when Bowers goes out we have absolutely 0 post presence

Any reports on if he has been staying in shape and working on his game the last 6 or 7 months?

Do we know the reason Thompson was sent back home?
