Why were Urban Meyer and Nick Saban in Richmond, KY yesterday?

They are wasting their time with RB Damien Harris of Madison Southern High. He is going to stay home and attend UK just like Matt Elam did. It seems like Saban would learn...and maybe teach Urban a thing or two.

yea Elam is a real genius. Sitting at home now instead of wearing an SEC title ring. Good job.

Good God

ETA: both of those coaches teams are in the playoff.

UK stormed the field after beating a pathetic SCAR team, then lost 6 in a row

Not many...I don't think he was in the game much. I was thinking they red-shirted him after maybe playing him in one of the early games.

If he played one down they burned his red shirt.

Hey, but we beat Spurrier! It was worth it just to watch him in the postgame press conference.

What? Elam was not redshirted after playing a few games. Setting aside the fact that this sentence makes no sense, Elam made a significant, positive impact for our run defense when he was able to go. Unfortunately, that wasn't much because he was easily winded. Hopefully a year in the S&C program drops some of that bad weight.

Yeah... um... That worked out well, didn't it?

He went from this:

To this...

And hasn't played pretty much at all - despite certainly being promised playing time.

Yeah, he really balooned between his Senior season and when he arrived in Lexington. He looked too big in the All American game too.

Ok, I stand corrected. I just never noticed him in the game. It seemed like ZaDarius Smith, Mike Douglas, Cory Johnson, Jabari Johnson played most of the down on the DL. Also, I thought you could play up to 20% of a team's games and still redshirt?
