Started every game at probably the hardest position to learn and maintain quality play. Even played with a high ankle sprain. QBs and RB get all the glory but try and run behind a bad OL and see how that works out.

Troof, the kid is the real deal. I wish he was in purple and gold (duh) but he's solid across the board.

You really think learning to play tackle is harder than learning to play quarterback?

You might have a point but for a freshman to play left tackle is a big deal.

So is a freshman being one of the top running backs in the SEC, while only officially starting in half of the games.

Louisiana is gonna be able to claim the national championship if Cam Robinson and Landon Collins win the national championship.

Wrong. Cam isn't even the best freshman on the team.

JK Scott should've been on the invite list to NYC.

Nick Chubb as a full time starter ran for 7 straight 100 yard games. He averaged almost 7 yards a carry in the SEC. A number very few running backs have been able to achieve much less as a true freshman. The freshman class was strong but Nick Chubb was the man.

Can't you Alabama idiots give ANY other team or player credit? You won't rest until people give everyone on your team an award.

You always seem to think you have the best player at every position and no one else is even in the discussion.

He played in the SEC East. A division that lost all its rivalry games to the ACC and was represented in the SEC Title Game by a team that lost to an also-ran in the B1G. Yes, he also beat Auburn and Arkansas, but come on... who didn't?

Learning to play LT in the SEC is not the hard part, being able to PHYSICALLY pull it off is the amazing part.

Well, no. But Cam Robinson was an absolute anchor on a suspect offensive line as a freshman, and a gamer who played hurt. He deserves recognition.

I am not saying he does not, but it can be worded differently and give other players credit. That is the issue, you guys always shite on other teams and players to make yours look all world. No need to say "The Real Freshman of the Year"!
