What's your flight plan?
The only ones I can find from Jackson to Miami are upwards of 900 bucks.
ETA: I'll be there. Just trying to decide on how long to stay and whether to fly or drive.

I was going to fly out of NOLA but am going home for Xmas so am flying out of Monroe on the 27th.

What we do depends upon the # of people in the group.
I may go early to Jupiter Island if the group is small enough. I have a condo we can use if we promise not to abuse it. That pretty much eliminates any women from LA.
I have a couple of golfing buddies living in Naples. The other option is to go there with a group and rent a big van for game day. The problem with this idea is that it is a group of people that are used to running things, and getting a bunch of bosses to agree on things to do is pretty damn hard. (Too many chiefs... not enough indians syndrome)

Anybody familiar with the area?
I have been told that the stadium is a 30-40 min drive from Miami. With it being new years eve and kicking off at 8EST Im gonna get tanked at the game. I have heard that there isn't many hotels near the stadium and its kinda in a rough part of town.
Im driving down from Orlando with some friends but not driving anywhere after the game, any suggestions? Is Ft. Lauderdale closer to the stadium than Miami?

It is on the Ft Lauderdale side of Miami. Maybe halfway between. Not real sure about the area though. I know it is not as bad as where the Orange Bowl used to be. I think you are fine as long as you stay with groups and on the main roads. I am looking for rooms in Ft Lauderdale now. Regardless of my main plans, I am going to want a room somewhere in the area for after the game. It is 80 miles back to Jupiter Island and over 100 miles to Naples.

Ft Lauderdale. Rooms were like half the price and its only about a 15 minute drive from the stadium. Looked at Miami but had an extra couple jump in and 3 rooms for multiple nights at 450 a night was going to pile up quick.
