So since we have a few more weeks until the game....

Who do you think we see as QB these next few years? We have so many talented big time recruits its gonna be an interesting battle.

So Sims closes out the year obviously and then he is gone.

So who do you got next year?

I think Coker is gonna start next year. Does anyone think we go another route so we can have a qb for a few years instead of Coker who will be done after next year?

Cooper Bateman? A less experienced Blake Barnett? Who else is in the mix? Alec Morris? I think he may get passed up on the depth chart.

Thoughts?

My bold prediction is that Cornwall(well?) earns the starting spot by August.

corn may be 2 with coker at one and then a RS for Barnett with Morris being 3rd and our holder on extra points.

Coker will start. We lose pieces like Cooper and White, but Kiffin will just plug in guys to the system. Coker will blow the doors off the SEC next year. Another 3000+ yard passing season with 30 or more TDs

These numbers will become more of a common place with kiffin running the offense. Same thing happened at USC. Leinhart had 3 straight 3000+ yard passing seasons with 2 of them having 30+ TDs. Matt Barkley had 2 3000 yard seasons as well including one in which he had 39 passing TDs

He will be a redshirt Freshman.

I'm sorry, I just can't say without a shadow of a doubt that Coker is better than Cornwell. Saban will start the best guy, and Cornwell has been in the system longer than Coker. I think he is better.

will be a RS freshamn next season. 6'5" 230 with maybe the best pure arm strength ive ever seen on a hs player. will be interested to see if we have iron out the wrinkles in his motion this year, because if so he will be throwing 60 yard bombs and making it look effortless, putting 30 yard passes on a rope

I think Bateman has a decent shot. Really dont like the idea of having four quarterbacks in four years, so we will see. Will be interesting since none of our backups have really had any backup experience outside of Coker. Even his backup time at Alabama has been more limited than his predecessors.

So do you guys think if Bateman gets passed up he transfers? Or maybe one of the other qb's? Its hard to imagine all of these big time recruits staying if they get passed up. Can't say I blame them though

Coker in 2015, then it is a Bateman/Cornwell/Barnett battle in 2016.

We stacked.

Hope Foster stays.

If the young WRs grow up quickly and Saban isn't bitching to Kiffin about the playcalling, records could be snapped with the talent at receiver/TE. I don't know that it gets better next year, but overall it doesn't get much worse.

My ideal setup AS THINGS STAND NOW:

Start Coker

Bateman AND Cornwell get backup reps

Redshirt Barnett

Cornwell will never start for us, I'm predicting it. Coker, then Bateman and then Barnett.
