Didn't LSU and Notre Dame play on a fairly regularly basis back in the day? I hope my travel schedule lets me watch you guys kick them around stadium.

I'm excited. This will be the most Catholic on Catholic violence we've had since Napoleon led the French into Spain.

I wonder how long of a leash Notre Dame will give Brian Kelly? Outside of the 2012 season, Notre Dame has been no better under Kelly than they have under any other coach since Holtz. They have to be averaging close 4-5 losses a year under him. The 2012 year aside, it has been a lousy run by him.

Series is tied 5-5 with LSU taking the last two in convincing fashion. When Holtz was there ND recruited NOLA pretty effectively. That's definitely a door we don't want opened.

Last time LSU played ND it was a viscous beat down of a good Charlie Weis team, way worse than the score.

ND had 10 wins that year, almost felt sorry for them but didn't.

I would be pretty disappointed unless I was just glad to get a gimme win. The irish have already quit on their coach and mailed it in. They wont show up to play very inspired football.
