Why are black dudes so bad at Robbery?

Watching the local nightly news here in NWArkansas.
2 crimes that were newsworthy.
2 black dudes from Cali tried to rob a pawn shop Sat. Morning (wouldn't you wait til later in the afternoon when they had $ from the day's sales?). The old lady that owns the store shot one of them and they were both arrested at the hospital down the street.
Then this afternoon a black dude broke a window at a bank and crawled in I guess to crack the vault safe. He got caught when the BWW manager saw him crawl out of the window. There's a state police HQ about a minute away from that bank location.
Would you not hit a bank when there was a manager there or tellers that could hand over cash from their tills?
Dumb criminals aren't a racial thing but this weekend in NW Arkansas they just happen to be black and w/ our low African American population they become a statistical anomaly.

It's newsworthy because the white devil cops didn't kill them in cold blood amirite

Pawn shops start out with cash in the morning, because it requires cash to make loans all day long.
Still though, robbing a pawn shop is a bad idea. The owner is damn sure going to be armed and good with a weapon, and there are going to be cameras everywhere.

ahhh Thanks for the answer. My only experiences with pawn shops have been the time when I was 18 one of my friends that was under 18 wanted me to pawn his little sister's new trumpet that cost his parents around $500. I didn't know the difference between selling and pawning, so I got the $60 my buddy wanted. Hopped back into the car and gave him the money. He asked for the pawn ticket, and I didn't have a clue what he was talking about.
I sold her trumpet for $60 paltry dollars. The pawn shop owner wouldn't sell it back to my friend, he couldn't tell his parents so his sister got blamed for losing it, she had to quit band, was grounded for the rest of the year, and it pretty well ruined her life for her middle school years. I do have a white hispanic friend that owns a pawn shop in Missouri, I probably should have just asked him instead of making this thread.

The vast majority of robberies are committed by poors, a high percentage of poors are dumb (as in they lack education) and a disproportionate percentage of poors are black. It only stands to reason then that a high percentage of dumb robbers are black.
That being said, the guy who won a Darwin award after he shot himself in the face looking down the barrel of his own gun after it wouldn't fire at the clerk was white. So there's that.
