Who thinks FSU is going to get left out?

Everyone seems to be waiting on the committee to bounce either the Big 10 or 12. Well FSU doesn't look like they are a top four team, while OSU definitely does. The committee could bounce TCU but they were in front of FSU. If they replace the last one in with OSU it would have to FSU.

committee made idiots of themselves by putting TCU at 3 and FSU at 4. NOw they are going to have to back track and look foolish if they take TCU out completely. IF TCU had been 4 and OSU 5 then I can see them flip flopping. Now they will have egg on their faces.

I agree they screwed up by jumping TCU over FSU. However, forget about egg on face, egos, saving face, whatever. Just get it right today and it worked.

FSU is 29-0 in their last 29 games. OOC schedule was Notre Dame, Okie State, and Florida. They had some ugly wins but as long as they keep piling up W's they deserve to get in.

top 4 are those in my books and Kirk H was on ESPN saying same thing. You think Kirk was pulling the Old OSU Alum thing trying to persuade those listening. I doubt the committee is listening to TV right now as they need to get their chit together soon

The whole thing actually worked out quite well for the committee. You have 4 conference champions with 0 or 1 loss. The Big 12's own stupidity has resulted in them essentially having no conference champion. This is a committee with a former secretary of state. They are going to read right through the Big 12's attempt to game the system and keep them out.

Yeah....if they do, the committee will be "one and done". I'm all for human interaction-but it has to be "sensible" interaction and input!! Leaving out the only undefeated team who happens to be the defending national champion is no where near sensible. They should have taken the "You're king of the hill until you get knocked off" approach. Their job would have been much easier!!!

No way. FSU is undefeated in 2 seasons of play and is the previous NC. And while Ohio St. obviously looked dominant vs Whisky, their overall body of work in a weak-arse Big 10 is not impressive.
The committee has placed themselves in a controversial position by placing TCU over Baylor who had a close head to head win over TCU. But considering the results of the their respective games last night, I don't see how the committee has any choice but to keep TCU in the top 4; TCU had the more impressive wins vs teams both TCU and Baylor faced including vs Kansas St. The teams are very close but I do think TCU has the better defense.
