Any game vs Big Ten not named Ohio State or Michigan is boring.

Would've been cool to see Melvin Gordon vs Gurley. Of course, for Gurley to have been able to play in that bowl game, we likely wouldn't have been playing in THAT bowl game, so it's like a cow's opinion.

I don't understand the purpose of bowl games anyway. I guess it's purely financial. Risking injury to potentially win a game that in no way matters, that nobody cares about, is dumb as hell.

I think it's really to sneak peek your next year's team and begin fine tuning your returning players. Most eligible juniors have already made their decisions by then, too.

For fans and administrators, you're dead on. But for players and coaches, it's a chance for extra practices and a glorified scrimmage before Spring workouts.

Unpopular opinion.
The 2011 Outback Bowl was the BEST college experience I have ever had. They treated the band very well and I hope to God we go back.

Players love any bowl as you get $ and a bunch of free stuff. Its just that no one cares about the actualy game...
