If we had a pass rush/defense...

...I think we are beating Mizzou right now by 3 TDs. We would have beaten bammer and AtM. I am at peace w/ it now, but there are no dominant teams this year.
I think we will be better on Offense next year. If we can put a little Defense together it's ours for the taking.
Just a little Sunshine for you guys since we've been in READY mode all week!

Really. Defense was awful this year. Oh well, hopefully next year will show a real shift on the defensive side.

We haven't fielded a decent defense in what seems like a decade. I've been saying it can't get any worse every year for a while now.....

I'm gonna be honest I was hopeful that we'd get it turned around after last year. I thoughtI had seen areas of potential. Right now we are back at square 1.

Can we all just agree that we were shite this year and let it die. We fricking sucked when we needed to be good.
No need to compare us to any other team. We have one more game and lets just fricking pray we show up
We sucked. We totally failed.
Move on

Really? So we would have beat UGA 7-0?
How about TAM? Would a defense keep us from Herp derping the game away
Kicking 5 field goals in the iron bowl
We were shite
Season over

Serious question, do you even like Auburn?
Next year AU should have a better OL, better QB, and better RBs. Stands to reason that the offense will be better overall

Dude. Marshall is one of the top QBs ever to put on the uniform. JJ prays he will be half as good.

I'm concerned that JJ won't convert 3rd downs like NM did when the offensive line collapses. And I think they will continue to do that.
Right now Auburn is probably a 9 win team next year even with a favorable home schedule.

Yes but I can also evaluate them objectively. Some of you just severely underrate Nick Marshall and how important his skill set is to our offense.
Now, if Sammie AND Duke come back we will have a chance to be very good on offense but nobody seems to be expecting either. If both are gone we will struggle to be in the top half of the SEC offensively.
You can call me a moron or whatever but you can also bookmark this post and see that I'm right a year from now.
I'll finish by saying, Sammie and Duke pleeeasse come back!

Yeah, I know, because 2011. To that I say, 2009.
We will miss Nick, and Sammie and Duke if they don't return. But we will not finish below 7 other teams in offensive output next year. Period.

I hope you're right but what have you seen from any of our receivers to make you think any of them will even be average SEC caliber receivers?

Melvin Ray is a stud who has made the most of the very few opportunities he's been given.

Agree. Nick Marshall is probably the second best qb we have ever had. No offense to Sullivan...
