Back to back titles for Bentonville.

Every school that is the largest school in the state seems to go through this right before they split. Reminds me of Springdale in the days leading up to HarBer High.

Fayetteville is going to go on a run with all the other schools in the area split. It could get ugly for the rest if the state.

Fayetteville High is less than half the size of Bentonville High currently. I think they are the smallest of the big high schools in NWA.

I agree. When Bentonville West opens, FHS will have a run.

ETA: I looked it up. The Rogers high schools are both smaller than Fayetteville. Bentonville has about 1200 more kids this year than Fayetteville.

Springdale High could split right now and have the new east high be 7A. Both would be on the small side for 7A though.

Bentonville should have built a smaller school in Centerton and just called it Centerton High School.

Make it about the size of Siloam Springs.

I guess Springdale is probably building one out east in Sonora area? Hadn't heard that.

Yeah, but Springdale is going to be very very good in Soccer, baseball, and bull fighting.

Football and Basketball not so much.

Crazy how the world changes. 12-15 years ago when I wandered the halls of Fayetteville High it was a much different landscape. There was one high school in each town. Each school was nearly the same size. And we sucked at football. Wish we had a Daryl Patton back then.
