Fowler asks Saban is Bama in CFP, win or lose

Send Bama to playoffs if they lose, but leave out Mizzou?

ETA: Saban, of course, didn't answer the question (nor should he).

We don't deserve to be in the playoffs even if we beat Alabama.

Unless we beat them by like 40, which, you know.

Not trying to defend Mizzou's resume, but it would be b.s. to send the 11-2 conf runner up and not the 11-2 champ.

This isn't a 2011 thing, because Bama didn't go instead of LSU. They went in addition to LSU.

The question was does Alabama have to win to get in the playoffs, and he didn't give a yes or no answer. Started off with we don't think of it in those terms or something similar.

I don't see how, without some help. A KSU/GT/Wisconsin upset would be big. Oregon and TCU are already in.

I have zero problem with Saban's response. Who out there (as Fowler states) is suggesting Bama should/could be in with a loss?
