I can't remember a coach in his first major head coaching gig who impressed me at his opening press conference, and went on to be highly successful. I can think of a few who had them eating out of his hand at the opening presser, and was soon choking back the tears at his farewell presser.

Its really surprising Florida had to spend so much to get an up and comer.

Yeah. It makes him seem a lot more genuine. Slick customers who can win the presser and promptly go out and lose games are a dime a dozen anymore.
