The best team often loses and sometimes the loss is due to one or more bad calls or bad no calls.
Georgia has been damaged many times by bad officiating.
In 2009 against LSU A. J. Green was penalized for excessive celebration after a TD and that bad call contributed to the UGA loss.
In the 2011 SECCG against LSU the Honey Badger was about to score but he dropped the ball before he got to the end zone. The refs called a TD and there was no review.
This year a 50+ yard TD run against USCe by Gurley was negated by a bad holding call.
I can't recall UGA winning a game due to bad calls but I'm sure that it has happened at times.
The officiating of other conferences seems to be much better than the SEC's officiating which seems corrupt.
