Good get for them. Only thing that would make me nervous as a USCe fan is that Boom is now the official 'Coach in Waiting'

Edit: May have spoken too soon. And relied on Scout.com too much :-D

Yea, just saw that. Probably not a good thing for Georgia either way but hopefully Pruitt is able to reel the players we need in-state.

I would hold off until more outlets report it. There's a whole lot of people skeptical of that report.

Yeah, I'm just noticing that as well. Could be an "oops" in my future.

It would be best for us if he ended up at A&M. But if he was choosing between USC and Auburn I'd rather have him at USC. Spurrier isn't going to be there much longer and at Auburn he would be at the DC position for a while. I want him out of the SEC tbh.

FYI: Muschamp is out of the country and won't do anything until he gets back

quote:

Steve Spurrier told The State on Friday morning that Will Muschamp has not been hired at South Carolina, refuting a website report to the contrary.

"No, I haven't hired Will," Spurrier said. "I haven't really talked to anybody about additions (to staff)."

Asked if he'd talk to Muschamp about joining the staff, Spurrier said, "Not really."

Muschamp, who was fired after four seasons as head coach at Florida, is reportedly is out of the country this week with family.

"From what I hear, Will is going to wait for everything to settle down," Spurrier said Friday.

I'm not sure which fanbase I want to melt more, AU or USCe when he signs with someone.

NFL would be the best. We don't have to play him, plus we get to watch both AU and USCe lose their shite.

I will say that the Auburn confidence in hiring him reminds me a lot of UGA's pursuit of Smart after 2009.

After Agent Muschamp brings down the Cocks, can he move onto Tech?

This year is an anomaly for our friends on North Avenue. They don't need assistance from Agent 0030.

However a Manchurian Candidate in Tuscaloosa would be quite nice. Another domino that needs to tumble for the red and black curtain to descend and cover the SEC.
