This kid is a SEC caliber running back. It would be a nice pick up for any team looking for depth at the RB position. He's a sophomore listed at 6'1 228. He finished the season with 1587 yards on 306 carries and 13 touchdowns. I was wondering if any SEC school were recruiting him.

There's a rumor that we are really interested but I don't buy it.

I would take him. That kid was a load to take down when we played them.

I believe we are talking to Jake Ganus who was their top LB apparently. Our staff was pretty impressed with him when we played and we need depth at LB.

A few schools have the opportunity to capitalize on the top talent UAB.

They've for a couple of guys that should come out better in the end.

Actually, one of their starting WR's used to be a Hog but transferred there after getting kicked off of our team.

Humphrey was a Sr this season though.

Really? Did he get tagged a year for when he was otherwise occupied. 2010 & 2011 he was at Arkansas, 2012 he sat out because he was occupied, 2013 he transferred to UAB and 2014 he played. I thought he would have been a junior this year.

Once you enroll, you'd eligibility clock starts... so 2014 would be his last year to play (fifth season).

I don't know about that, but I wouldn't be opposed to us taking their top 2 offensive tackles.

They can't be any worse than ours.

Hearing that Ganus is going to be playing next season in Athens. Good athlete and a heady player that will find his way onto the field in some fashion for Georgia. Had 16.5 TFL and 6.0 sacks for UAB last year. He'll have one year of eligibility remaining.

Looks like Howard is leaning towards South Alabama. The Jags have already picked up UABs qb, center, and OC.
