I want to get season tickets for the SEC championship game. I always have a good time in Atlanta, and would like to take my kid and let him experience different teams and fanbases once he's old enough.

The way the number has dropped since 2013, could there be less Mizzou fans than last year?

The 2008 and 2009 tickets were insanity. So was 2012.

This is actually the first time Alabama has been in the game when it wasn't a defacto National Semifinal (or Quarterfinal this year if it was the same setup I guess).

I think so, yes. Most of the Mizzou fans we met and talked to didn't travel from Missouri. They were scattered from the local Atlanta area or within decent driving range. I think those fans are less likely to make that same trip again.

Mizzou fans were really great, for the record. I met one that I do a little consulting for every other quarter. The distance is a bummer for them.

It's Bama's sidewalking followers. Not selling their single-wides to get tickets this season.

Mizzou fans didn't travel all that well last year. I bet this year will be even worse.

A lot of them had an ice storm to deal with.

Okay. A lot of Auburn fans had one to deal with in 2010 for the National Title game. Still found a way.

I'm proud of this Mizzou team, but would you spent a couple grand to get plane tickets, hotel, game tickets, etc. for a short notice trip to ATL for a game where we're expected to get killed? And pinned between the holidays so vaca days are not readily there.
