I think his performance on the field has been underwhelming because he's not happy playing DT.
I guess he isn't as mentally tough as RN.

I blame the staff for letting Chris Jones get over 290, he's probably 310-315 right now. Then we gave him the DE position late in the season after his body had changed too much. I predict they will get him down significantly in the offseason so he can be the dominant player he was when he first came to camp. CJ at around 290 would be as previously advertised. But they need to follow through with this in the offseason.

It'd be a shame to make him overrated and disappear for large stretches of games and seasons.
