A realistic scenario - Who's #4 if this happens.

Here's the Top 10
1. Alabama
2. Oregon
3. TCU
4. Florida State
5. Ohio State
6. Baylor
7. Arizona
8. Michigan State
9. Kansas State
10. Mississippi State
Top 3 all win as expected:
Alabama beats Missouri
Oregon beats Arizona
TCU beats Iowa State
but:
Georgia Tech beats FSU
Wisconsin beats Ohio State
Kansas State beats Baylor
Who is #4?
10-2 Michigan State, who did not win their division in the B1G?
An ACC Champion 11-2 Georgia Tech?
A 12-1 Florida State that had been slipping all year and would have just lost an ACC Championship Game?
10-2 Kansas State, a second Big 12 team?
1. Alabama
2. Oregon
3. TCU
4. Florida State
5. Ohio State
6. Baylor
7. Arizona
8. Michigan State
9. Kansas State
10. Mississippi State

I'd lean with Kansas State. Georgia Tech lost to a 6-6 North Carolina team and Duke. K-State lost to Auburn at home when the Aubbies were clicking and an excellent TCU team on the road.
Michigan State lost to both of the great teams they played this season, although they did beat Indiana.

Probably Georgia Tech in that scenario. I think they'd be reluctant to put in two big 12 teams while Tech would have defeated two top 20 teams in consecutive weeks.

The amazing thing is they are saying the West is over rated, putting Michigan State and Kansas State above State and OM, etc... And yet Bama is number one because frick their logic. So absurd, this shite should be handled by the BCS formula, computers aren't biased and aren't effected by the media or Jimbo Fisher.

Keep in mind GT lost it's 2 games by a combined 11 points

Georgia Tech
Conference champion, coming off 2 big wins, they'd fit the bill.

Good point. They'd probably get it, but I'd vote for K-State. I think the Big 12 is considerably better than the ACC and B1G.

Michigan State and even Mississippi State have a logical argument - does beating a slipping FSU team that was in losing position in six games qualify a team to jump 7 spots over them?
That's the nightmare scenario for the committee. And all three could happen. Add a Missouri upset of Alabama, and there's complete chaos.

My thinking as well. I think they will always be reluctant to put in 2 teams from the same conference. It would be GT, Wisky, or MI St. The last 2 the least likely, and Wisky a better chance than MSU.

Well, there's always a huge chaos scenario, you could have the top 3 teams all lose this weekend, they're all playing legit opponents in conference championship games.
Highly unlikely but would make picking the top 4 utter hell.

TCU isn't losing to Iowa State. They are in the playoff. Bama and Oregon have legit opponents. Arizona can get in the playoff with a win, might be too much for Mizzou to jump from 16th.

Since LSU isn't in it, this is what I want. I want all favorites to lose(except TCU, 2 aunts are alum, want them to win it all), for complete fricking chaos.

Yea, they can't possibly screw shite up.

Wisconsin is already ranked behind us and a win over FSU would carry more weight than a banged-up Ohio St. I think they really do value conference championships over anything else, so we would get the nod.

That's my belief, but who the hell knows what these fools will do.
