Totally forgot about that, was thinking of the old system.
Wow, he could very well get most of these.

With the new playoff system and the possibility of getting an extra game, there will have to be some * by records being broken in the future (not talking about Cooper, he will break most without the extra game if Alabama advances).

Dang, just imagine if he played 4 years?

Can you imagine if he had played a full, healthy 3 years?
He basically played 2.5, and the half was played injured.

the single season record is kind of dumb. Josh Reed had over 200 yards receiving in his bowl game, which didn't count, and he also played one fewer regular season game. Oh well, Cooper is really good, but he still can't touch Reed's single game record thus far or his ypg record.

Yea, I agree, but that is the way records work these days.
I think the career records are much more impressive anyway, especially considering Matthews played 4 years and Cooper played 3.

To be fair, you'd also have to say that about current records that were broken after the number of games was extended.

Cooper is a beast . truth. Reed was also a very good catcher of balls.

19 catches for 293, in a single game.

like I said...great catcher of balls.

So he needs 10 catches, 168 yards and 3 TDs to break all of those records.
I'll take the under.
I'll take the under.
