If Muschamp were to join Auburn's staff as DC, which of these combos would be better? It's a tough call since these coaches are all some of the cream of the crop.

Saban was Muschamp's mentor and is noted as one of the best defensive minds in college football, but Boom seems to have adjusted better. I'll give a very slight edge to Muschamp.

Malzahn is a great OC, but Kiffin has worked wonders whenever he's been an OC only so I'll give the slight edge to Kiffin.

Overall I think Alabama would still have the better combo, especially when recruiting is thrown in.

Auburn wins Saturday going away if they have Muschamp instead of Johnson.

Muschamp gave up 672 yards to Alabama this year.

Johnson only gave up 539

They win if they had Ernie Johnson as DC. Mincy on Cooper.

44 points scored on bama's defense is more impressive than 55 scored on Auburn's defense. I think Muschamp on staff would wreck the sec

Based on what? Give me anything to support that thought.

Spurrier/Muschamp would be better than both of those

I think Saban is a better defensive mind, I just don't think Saban has adjusted as well quite yet to the spread. He's turning the corner though.

What defenses did Muschamp coordinate that were outstanding?

And how long was UF's D on the field? Something like 10 minutes longer than AU I do believe.

So what piece of information are you using to give Muschamp the edge?

I'm confused.

I don't think it really correlates to whatever Muschamp would do at Auburn, but Kiffin coached circles around him that day. Florida had no idea what they were doing defensively against our stuff. If not for a bunch of dumb turnovers that either directly were returned for TDs or were inside our 25 that game would have been 63-0.

Because the Bama offense was doing whatever the frick it wanted to against Muschamp and his defense - much like it did Saturday night against Johnson's.

He has no evidence. He's saying a pupil who has failed as a HC is better than the teacher. Foolishness

Yea, the Florida game was basically the same as the Texas A&M game except we gave them 21 pts on turnovers (drives that would have resulted in TD's because, well, every other drive basically did).
