Are you worried it won't be called fairly? We can make all the jokes we want, but I think we all know the SEC doesn't want you knocking Bama out of the playoffs.

I doubt the SEC brass will need to bribe the refs for Alabama to win.

Mizzou winning the SECCG would be akin to winning the Lottery. It's possible. We bought a ticket. But, I doubt I will be knocking the dust off my celebration bottle that I've been saving since 2007 (our first of 4 conf champ games in recent history).

I was wanting to post a thread on this but didn't want to post too many.

Is this a real thing (refs blatantly calling biased games) or is it an loser's lament looking for closure?

If we're being realistic, there is probably some truth to refs being biased to Bama.

Except the penalty numbers don't back that up in any way shape or form.

Eh. Not too worried. It's not our first rodeo. And it will be difficult to top historic injustices committed against us.

They don't care about State - they're on Team Bama!

I think these players are just too fast to consistently make good calls in real time. I hate when people act like there's a giant conspiracy for one team over another. I don't think it ever really happens.

I think when you win (and nobody has won more in the last 7 years than Bama), that every close win is scrutinized for a close judgement call, a no call, or a call that is borderline at best.

When you win a lot, you tend to win the close ones too and that is where if you look through 150 plays there will always be subjective calls.

I will say this. Its not the numbers per se its the timing of these game changing calls.

Yeah, if that were the case then Milliner's INT wouldn't have been overruled in the 2012 SEC Championship Game.

Two nights ago, late in the 3 rd quarter Auburn got the benefit of an atrocious call and kicked a FG off that to go up by 2 TD's. It was at this point that many fanbases would start blaming refs and teams would quit. But not Bama
