Mississippi State will get the better bowl. Better overall record (10-2), finishes 2nd in SEC West, everyone loves Dak Prescot.

State is almost guaranteed a "BCS" bowl. They'll either get the Orange or Peach.
If a few teams slip up we could slide into one of those bigger bowls like the Cotton Bowl. But we need help. Without any help the best we can do is the Citrus Bowl.

Somebody from the SEC will end up in the Peach.

I really want to play Baylor in Dallas.

I thought the SEC was no longer going to be affiliated with the Cotton Bowl and Peach Bowl? Or does that not start till later?

Our Boise win was as good as any of their wins

There are five games this weekend where both teams in the game are ranked ahead of us. If all the favorites win, we will go up to the 8-10 range in the final regular season rankings. That should get us something nice.
Orange Bowl reps were at the Egg Bowl to look at both teams, according to tInternet.

Arkansas hurt y'all by losing. That loss looks a better had they won and gone 7-5 with three straight top 25 wins.

Actually the opposite, if the favorites win we are in. We need Bama to beat Mizzou, Oregon to beat Arizona, Ohio State to beat Michigan State, and Baylor/TCU to beat Kansas State.
Alabama and Mizzou is super important. Pretty much need 3/4 to win to get a playoff bowl, but we might be able to sneak in with the right two.

Are the LSU and BSU wins really considered quality?

Well, they can't really afford to travel so... Yeah. Poor joke.

Considering Boise is 10-2 and looks to be headed to the Fiesta Bowl if they beat 6-6 Fresno State this weekend, yes.

I disagree. I think a 9-3 victory against Auburn is slightly better. I think most would agree. Still a very good win by the Rebs.

well, Alabama surely thinks beating LSU, WVU, and Auburn were quality wins.

Rankings play a big part of this. MSU is top 10, they are in the big 6 game, unless Bama losses. Then Bama and Mizzou get big 6 bids.
