The upper deck was only 2/3 full from the start. I was shocked, honestly.

Going 100k plus on the expansion will end up being a decision they regret. I said it earlier this summer.

I was in that mass of people and that's what it was like the whole game. Stadium was overbuilt. Should have knocked off the top rows of the south end zone and built party decks/suites/SRO.

Those upper deck seats seem reeeally far away from the field. Is it like that in person?

Technically the current iteration of the stadium has 6k more seats than it will going forwards, but it was overbuilt. I agree.

Some of those might be LSU's allotment
I don't think LSU sold all of them with it being Thanksgiving night

This is the South Endzone. LSU's UD seats were in the North.

What happened if and A&M player got hurt and Sumlin needed to get someone from the stands? That could have been really embarrassing

It was like that the whole game, but I'm sure you knew that.

So A&M is building an 103k stadium. In a transition year where season tickets could not be expanded, we averaged ~105k. I would agree a 110k stadium would be too big. Good thing it was a 1 year transition during construction.
